Why People Work with Coaches
People work with coaches for various reasons, some very specific like starting a new business, transitioning to a new career, or resolving specific problems and some more broad like creating life-balance, time management, or overall life fulfillment. The common thread among all who work with coaches, regardless of the reason, is a strong desire to make a significant change in their lives. It’s a deep desire to get more out of life and the willingness to do whatever is necessary to get there. Those who get the most benefit out of coaching are those who have the desire to risk, learn, and stretch to his/her potential.
The Coaching Process
Coaching is a process. It is delivered during regular weekly sessions via telephone or in-person, whichever is more convenient. The regularly scheduled and consistent connection is structured to keep you in that process. While in the process, you will be discovering things about yourself that will change the way you look at your life. You will be asked to examine your beliefs, actions, behaviors, and surroundings to ensure they are congruent with the point you want to reach. All of this is designed to keep you taking steps forward with solid actions towards the things you want for yourself.
